Cooking time: 4 hours on High settings


  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • cup teriyaki sauce
  • large onion, sliced
  • 3 fresh red chili pepper, chopped finely
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 kg (2 lb) pork tenderloin
  • cup brown sugar


  1. In a medium size skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Place the tenderloin and  cook until brown on all sides.
  3. In a bowl, mix the chicken broth with teriyaki sauce and brown sugar.
  4. Add red chili pepper, black pepper, onion and garlic.
  5. Place the browned tenderloin into the slow cooker and pour in the teriyaki sauce mixture.
  6. Cover and cook for 4 hours over high heat.
  7. Turn the tenderloin 2-3 times to even doneness.
  8. Take the tenderloin off the slow cooker and allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
  9. To serve, spoon the sauce over the tenderloin slices.
