  • 10 oz (280g) processed cheese spread
  • 6 eggs large
  • 4 cups potatoes cooked and diced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix stir before measuring
  • 1 lb (500g) lean beef, minced (ground beef)


  • In a large greased frying pan, scramble-fry the beef for 5 minutes over medium-high heat.
  • Transfer to a large bowl. Add taco seasoning, potato and a small amount of pepper. Stir well.
  • Transfer to well-greased 3.5 to 4L slow cooker.
  • In a medium size bowl, beat the eggs and mix with cheese spread until smooth.
  • Pour in the beef mixture and stir thoroughly.
  • Cover and cook for 2 hours over high heat.
  • Note:

    • To make this dish spicy, replace the taco seasoning with chopped jalapeno chilies and add a little amount of salt to the potato mixture.
