You can enjoy the goodness of peaches even in the middle of winter with this easy cobbler dish. It’s the perfect ending to a nice meal of chicken, rice, and vegetables.
2 x16 oz (450 g)packet of frozen peaches
thawed and drained
cut into bits
Combine peaches, ¾ cup sugar, 1-1½ teaspoons cinnamon and nutmeg in medium bowl. Stir together, then place into a slow cooker.
For cobbler topping, combine flour, remaining 1 tablespoon sugar and remaining ½ teaspoon cinnamon in a separate bowl. Cut in butter using 2 knives or pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle over peach mix. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
