  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons onion flakes, minced
  • teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated medium or sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni


  1. In a saucepan, stir in the flour, salt, pepper, onion flakes, and paprika.
  2. Whisk in milk gradually until no lumps remain. Heat and stir mixture until boiling and the mix is thickened.
  3. Add cheese and macaroni. Stir contents. And place in a 3.5L slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 2 2 hours or 1 hour on high.
