Ingredients:

  • 680g (1 lbs) lean beef, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 280g (10 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 450g (1 lb) fettuccini noodles
  • 4L (135 fl oz.) boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Steps

  1. Using a non-stick skillet, scramble-fry the beef mice until browned. Do not drain.
  2. Mix in flour, salt, pepper, and onion. Stir in soup, vinegar, and orange juice. Place the mixture in a 3.5L slow cooker. Cover the cooker and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Stir in the sour cream and heat through.
  4. Cook the noodles in boiling water added with cooking oil and salt. Do this for 5-7 minutes. Drain and serve the stroganoff over noodles.
