Slow Cooker Chicken Recipes - Brunswick Stew

Ingredients:

  • 1 can 225g (8oz) of diced tomatoes
  • 1 x 125g (4oz) of tomato paste
  • 3 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 package of frozen lima beans or okra – thawed
  • 1 cup of chopped onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of crumbled rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • A dash ground cloves
  • 2½ cups of chicken broth

Steps:

  1. Add everything but the chicken broth into your slow cooker because you want to add it last.
  2. Stir the chicken broth into the mix very well and cover your Brunswick stew cooking on low heat for five to six hours.
  3. It is to be very noted that before you serve this dish that you make sure the bay leaf is removed and then stir.
  4. Serve the stew now to you and your family, enjoy!
