Cooking time: 3 hours 35 minutes on Low setting

Ingredients:

  • 680 g (24 oz) evaporated milk
  • 85 g (3 oz) cream cheese, cubed
  • 600 g (20 oz) cream of chicken soup, condensed
  • cup chopped onion
  • 310 g (11 oz) white corn, drained
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • 600 g (20 oz) cream of potato soup, condensed
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
  • 1 kg (2 lbs) shrimp, cooked and peeled

Steps:

  1. Heat butter and in a small skillet and saute the onion.
  2. Place the onion mixture in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the soup and milk.
  4. Add the Creole seasoning, corn and the garlic powder.
  5. Cover and cook for 3 hours over low heat.
  6. Add the cream cheese and shrimp.
  7. Cook for 30 minutes more until cheese is melted.
  8. Stir well to blend.
