  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 kg (2 lb) pork tenderloin
  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 2 carrots, cubed
  • 180 ml (6 fl oz) lager-style beer
  • 6 buttons mushroom
  • 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage


  1. Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook for 4 hours over low heat.
  3. Best if served with rice.
