Slow Cooker Size 3.5L+
Serves: 4
Cooking time: 8-9 hours on  Low setting

Ingredients:

  • 800 g (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • kg (1 lb) shrimp, peeled (uncooked)
  • 3 garlic gloves, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups sliced sausage (fully cooked)
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 cup chopped celery ribs
  • teaspoon red pepper sauce
  • teaspoon pepper
  • teaspoon dried thyme
  • teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups of rice (cooked)

Steps:

  1. Place all the ingredients (except the shrimp and rice) into a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook for 7 to 8 hours over low heat.
  3. Add the shrimp.
  4. Cover and cook for another 1 hour over low heat.
  5. Serve with rice.
