Ingredients

  • 14 oz (400g) canned tomatoes with juice, broken up
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • teaspoon parsley flakes
  • teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 lb (500g) cooked, shelled prawns
  • grated Parmesan cheese sprinkle

Steps:

  • Using a 3.5L slow cooker, combine the tomatoes, onion, garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, and white sugar. Cover the cooker and cook for 6-7 hours on low or 3 3 hours on high.
  • Add the prawns to the mix and stir. Cook on high for about 15 minutes or until the shrimp is completely heated through.
  • Serve over rice or pasta, and sprinkle with cheese.
