Sublime Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes

This is one of the best comfort food recipes, and it’s super easy,
even for a beginner. If you want to turn this into a one-pot meal,
simply mix in a cup or two of diced ham before serving. If you don’t
have shredded cheddar, you can substitute four or five slices of
processed cheese.
Ingredients:
- 7 to 8 large potatoes, boiled, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup reserved water from boiling potatoes
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Ground pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Steps
- Boil potatoes for 15 minutes. Drain all but 1 cup of water, and
set that water aside.
- Slice potatoes and place in slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine reserved water, milk, dry mustard, salt,
onion powder, and pepper. Pour over potatoes in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on Low setting for 4 hours
- Top with cheese before serving.
