Pork chops are so delicious when you cook them just right. But it’s easy
to overcook them, and when you do, they turn out tough. But that’s not a
problem with this recipe. They’re perfect every time. Pork chops are
great with classic sides like green beans, but you can change it up a
bit, too. How about Brussels sprouts? Simply slice them in half and
sauté in butter in a skillet with some minced garlic and onions. Mmmm…
Ingredients:
- 4 thick cut boneless pork chops
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
- In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients except for pork
chops, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker.
- Cut one or two small slits in each pork chop. Season each with
salt and pepper
- Place pork chops in slow cooker. Cook covered, on High setting
for 4 hours. If possible, baste occasionally with the liquid.
