Preparation time:

Serves: 6
Cooking time:

Pork chops are so delicious when you cook them just right. But it’s easy to overcook them, and when you do, they turn out tough. But that’s not a problem with this recipe. They’re perfect every time. Pork chops are great with classic sides like green beans, but you can change it up a bit, too. How about Brussels sprouts? Simply slice them in half and sauté in butter in a skillet with some minced garlic and onions. Mmmm…

Ingredients

  • 4 thick cut boneless porkchops
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients except for pork chops, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker.
  • Cut one or two small slits in each pork chop. Season each with salt and pepper
  • Place pork chops in slow cooker. Cook covered, on High setting for 4 hours. If possible, baste occasionally with the liquid.
  • Recipe End
