Cooking time: 7-9 hours on Low setting


  • 1 kg (2 lbs) pork boneless loin roast
  • 1 onion (medium) sliced
  • 1/2 cup of apple juice
  • 1 x 225 g (8 oz) pack of dried fruit pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon


  1. Place the sliced onion in a slow cooker.
  2. Put the pork on top then add the fruit.
  3. In a bowl, mix the apple juice, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
  4. Pour the mixture over the pork.
  5. Cover and cook for 7 to 9 hours on low heat.
  6. Spread the fruit mixture over pork.
  7. Serve.
