Cooking time:  4 hours on Low settings


  • 30 g (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • cup red wine
  • 1 kg (2 lb) pork tenderloin


  1. Put the tenderloin in a slow cooker together with the onion soup mix.
  2. Add water, soy sauce and wine.
  3. Turn the pork on both sides to coat.
  4. Place the garlic over the pork, add pepper and cover.
  5. Cook for 4 hours over low heat.
  6. Allow the tenderloin to stand before slicing.
  7. To serve, spoon the liquid over tenderloin slices.
