  • 15 oz (400g) tinned chopped tomatoes
  • 8 thin pork sausages
  • 7 oz (200g) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion cut into thin wedges
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (concentrated puree)
  • 15 oz (400g) tinned butter or red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon seeded mustard


  • Place the sausages in the slow cooker, prick each with fork.
  • Add the paprika, mushrooms, onion and garlic.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Pour in the mustard, tomato paste and tomatoes.
  • Cook for 3 hours on High.
  • Add the beans and cook for another 15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
