Hearty Beef Soup Recipe

Preparation time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking time: Low 7-8 hours
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 500g (1lb) lean beef mince
- 3 x 400g (14oz) cans beef liquid stock
- ¾ cup quick-cooking barley
- 3 cups sliced carrots
- 2 cups sliced celery
- 2 teaspoons beef seasoning
Steps:
- In frying pan, brown beef, drain and transfer to 5 L (5-quart)
slow cooker.
- Add
beef stock, barley, carrots, celery and beef seasoning.
- Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours.
- Serves 4.
