Slow Cooker Beef Recipes - Dilled Pot Roast

This is a simple slow cooked roast that is tender and juicy. Yumm!

Ingredients:

  • 1kg (2¾ lb) beef pot roast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon. dried dill weed, divided
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoon. wine vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon. flour
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 cups fat-free sour cream

Steps:

  1. Sprinkle both sides of beef with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon. dill weed.
  2. Place in slow cooker.
  3. Add ¼ cup water and vinegar.
  4. Cover. Cook on Low 7-9 hours.
  5. Remove meat from pot. Turn cooker to High.
  6. Stir flour into ½ cup water. Stir into meat drippings.
  7. Stir in additional 1 teaspoon. dill weed if you wish.|
  8. Cover. Cook on High 5 minutes.
  9. Stir in sour cream.
  10. Cover. Cook on High another 5 minutes.
  11. Slice beef and serve with sour cream sauce.
