Any suggestions on what I could use instead of your frozen biscuit. There are no frozen pastries available where I live.

Easy Caramel Rolls for Slow Cooker

Print Recipe
Preparation time: 5-10 minutes
Slow Cooker Size 3.5L+
Serves: 6
Cooking time: 3 to 4 hours on High setting

This is a very easy and indulgent recipe and is perfect for a coffee morning or for dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages 230g (8 oz) refrigerator (savory) biscuits or thawed, frozen yeast rolls
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts
  • cinnamon
  • sugar

Steps:

  1. Mix nuts and brown sugar together.
  2. Dip each biscuit or roll in melted butter, then brown sugar nut / mixture.
  3. Place in a cake pan insert or coffee can that fits inside your slow cooker. Sprinkle each layer of biscuits with a bit of cinnamon and sugar. If you’re using a coffee can to make this, cover it with several paper towels before cooking.
  4. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours without lifting lid.
